The blogging “industry” is dominated by
Wordpress and
Blogger these days. According to
Google trends Wordpress is the biggest. I only recently found out that there is an alternative,
Serendipity. I doesn’t have all the features off Wordpress but seems like a lightweight alternative. How many people actually use all the nice web 2.0 features that Wordpress offers? Serenpidity is programmed in php and runs on MySQL, the same as Wordpress. And it aslo supports mod_rewrite for URL rewriting, a nice feature for us SEO freaks… I should give it a try
